In this section of the reading, Jacob ended up finishing the bikes that the promised Bella he would work. The two of them are both kind of sad that their time together could end, so they decide to have study sessions with each other. Both Bella and Jacob are excited about this and they are both beginning to have feelings for each other. Also in this section, Bella decides to go and drive to the Cullen's old house. She does this to see if the voice that had come to her before would come again if she did something that Edward didn't think was right. But sadly it didn't and Bella had to leave quickly because of the pain and memories the house brought to her. She also became reunited with some of her old friends and is starting life up again. Only, she is starting from scratch, like when she first came to Forks. I do love that Bella is waking up from her zone of nothingness, but I am not a fan of Jacob and Bella and there growing relationship. Yes, they are cute, but Bella and Edward are meant to be. Its a good thing that she is starting something with Jacob in many ways though. The loving feeling she is getting from him is helping her to get back on her feet and move along with her life. Even if its a hard thing to do, she has to do it at sometime.

In the reading this section, Bella is feeling very rebellious. The last thing Edward had said to her when he left was to be careful and don't hurt yourself. She had always kept her promises until this one. She decided, since she was angry, that she would buy two motorcycles to get back at both Edward and her father, Charlie. After she finds two broken down motorcycles, Bella decides that she is going to need a lot of secret help in order to get these two bikes up and running again. So Bella decides to go to Jacob for this help. Once Bella arrives, Jacob is happy to help and is just happy that Bella would stop by and think of Jacob. This visit seems to spark some feelings between the two and Bella actually seems to be enjoying herself when she is with him. And after she left, she feel like she cant wait to be with him again. I don't like the fact that Jacob and Bella are starting to like each other. I think that Bella should always and forever be with Edward. I also think that her rebellious stage is not going to last until the bikes are ready for her to ride them. I think that she will come to her senses and realize that she is making a stupid decision.

Bella has been going through her life for the past couple of months in a haze. Ever since Edward had ended things with her, she has been putting off the pain by doing nothing at all. Everyone around her is noticing and finally her dad, Charlie, steps in and tells Bella that she needs to move on with her life and start to live again. So, Bella decides to go out with her friend Jess to get her mind on something and to get her dad off of her case. This outing made Bella wake up and realize what is going on in her life. While they were in Port Angles, Bella saw four men in a bar that reminded her of the night almost a year earlier when Edward had saved her. She was courious about these men so she when closer to them to see if she knew them. While walking closer, she heard Edwards voice in head reminding her that she had promised to stay out of trouble for him. Hearing his voice made Bella come to her sences and awaken. His voice reminded her that he did still care, which caused her to care. I do not know if it was really Bella's mind that was making up Edwards voice and words or, if Edward was listening to Jess's thoughts about Bella and he came to stop her, but either way, it was a major reminder that he is still there and still cares deeply for Bella Swan.

This section begins with Bella lying on the forest floor. She is not remembering anything or anyone other then Edward. Finally after a long search, Sam, one of Charlies friends, found Bella lost and confused in the woods. Once she is brought home, there is nothing she can do. She can barley walk. Later, she finds that the Indian reservations were causing fires in celebration of the Cullens relocation. This breaks her heart and she storms to her room. Once there, she finds that anything ever having to do with Edward is missing. He had taken everything and made it seem like he never existed. Just like he had said. New Moon has been a book full of ups and downs for me at this point, but I still don't see why Edward is making this life long decision. I realize that he is just trying to protect her from danger, and from getting hurt, but by leaving her, he is putting both her and himself in pain. I think that Edward should have stayed behind while his family moved on to a new city because, he would eventually meet up with the Cullens again, they are going to live forever so they really aren't going anywhere. I am still on the edge about Edwards choices, but I have a feeling that is not the last we see of Edward and the rest of the Cullens.
