Outside Reading #5

The title of the article that I read was "In dissection protest, teen's name is now Cutout Dissection.com". It is about a girl who legally changed her name from Jennifer Thornburg, to Cutout Dissection.com. The reason that she changed her name was to help protest agains the disection of animals in schools. She believes that people who do not enjoy disecting animal or are not comfortable disecting them, that the student should have the option to do an alternative assignment. Cutout Dissection.com is also the name of a website that has information on anti- dissection and information on the group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
